Sold my Tracker.
« on: January 20, 2011, 07:09:20 PM »
Well after owning a 1997(totalled), 2000(Traded), and a 2004 Tracker I finally sold my "04. I already miss it  :'( , I've owned it since brand new and she's NEVER let me down.
I think she's in good hands though, an older couple bought it and love the fact that it has a dvd/gaming system in it for the grand kids.

My new toy...

Nissan Armada SE 4X4 5.6liter V8. Power you ask? How about being able to floor it on bone dry pavement and lighting up a set of 18" tires  ;) .
For being a relatively new kid on the block the aftermarket for this vehicle is great. Lifts, headers, etc... I already have some goodies coming in the mail for it  ;). I will eventually buy a samuri to play with but for now I'm Zuk less  :'( .

It's alright  ;) lol. Can't wait to find a clean Sami to play with. Yesterday a blue lifted Sami past me on rt-60 eastbound in Sandston VA. It was a clean looking build.

i always though a first gen trackers would make a great weekend toy. and they are SOOOO much easier to find in good condition compared to Sammy's.

Get a 2-door 1.6, throw a 3" body lift and trim trim trim until you can fit some 33" under it and voila! Down the road add some transfer case gears and a couple of lockers and that thing would go anywhere.

That's a good idea but I always thought it was cheaper to build/lift a Sami over a TrackKick  ??? I can find TrackKicks in decent shape all over the place for not to much money but the trade off comes in finding parts at good prices to lift it.

get a 1st gen kick, then get a stock front end of a sami(axle, springs, steering bits) , get onto zookpower, look up the build with this combo.  just about everything bolts right up.

Now I saw a yellow lifted sammy with a shovel hanging off the spare tire. I wonder if its someone off Zukiworld. This is driving me nuts seeing all these lifted zuks driving around, just taunting me  :P lol.
I've been finding two door 2nd gens for sale also.
