Turning and hiting a bump noise

If I turn and hit a small bump at the same time I get a clunk/poping noise from the front drivers side of my 98 kick Im leaning towards cv joint anybody got this prob or better yet an answer?

I had one doing close to the same thing dont know for sure what yours sounds like, and about 6 months later the strut started leaking oil out around the piston. I got rid of it before i changed the strut but i am guessing thats what was causing it. All the ones ive had with bad cvs didn't make much noise until i put them in 4 wheel drive but i guess its possible, but you would think it would do it every time you turned even if you didn't hit a bump if it was a bad cv.

What tires do you have?
Did you take the sway bar off or just loose?
Check the upper strut mounts for damage, I had one come
apart once, now I carry a spare
