leaking oil

I am leaking oil.  I think it's coming from around the distributor of my new Sammy.  Is there a seal or is it just RTV?  I really appreciate the help.

There is an o-ring around the distributor that should be replaced or resealed.

Yeah, I don't even try to break 'em loose with the torx bit anymore. I take a cold chisel to the edge of the bolt and use that and a hammer tap to break it loose, then use the torx bit to remove it. I put a regular hex bolt in place of them always.

Ya I had the same problem. It was the O-ring.

I went to my trusted local mechanic, and he said it was coming from the oil filler cap because I am not getting any vacuum pressure.  Also, there is a pin hole leak on the bottom of the oil pan.  A bolt in the right hose and some jb weld and I should be good.  Let you know in a half and hour.

Nothing like waiting for something to dry.  I can't wait to add oil and not leak.

Just go to www.trailtough.com and order the stupid o-ring. And I've never heard of a pinhole leak in a Suzuki oilpan. It's more than likely the o-ring. They are cheap, if you were in my neck of the woods I'd sell you one, but you don't...sorry.
