i was thinking about using a Toyota front drive line in the rear of my samurai has anyone done this i know the flanges are different

i know it needs shortend but i think it will work

i am going to be doing that to my rig except my rear shaft is a Sammy front.I am not 100% but i am pretty sure the hubs wont each other on top of the flanges having to be re-drilled. And you will need to shorten the drive shaft and get it balanced. If these things are truely bolt on then you can keep your stock as a spare.

Its going to be to long and the holes dont match up.  I found it to be pretty easy to re-drill the flange, an adapter will work just fine also.

79-85 are the best year shafts to get.
The later years will work but the operation angle of the CV will be less.
