what transfer case to use?
« on: June 03, 2010, 01:53:22 PM »
I have a set of Toyota axles I'm rebuilding to put under my 2 dr. Tracker.  I'm unsure if I should cut the tracker case and add a samurai case or just get new gears for my tracker case? With gears in the case I should be able to keep stock or close to stock  wheelbase, correct? I plan on running 33-35" tires. My main goal is little to no vibration and still be able to run 70 down the road. What ring and pinion should I put in the axles?

I haven't really dealt with it, but I vaguely recall someone making an adapter to run a toyota case behind the kick range box. Its like the kicker 4 or 20 or whatever they are up to now.
Toyota case= awesome
Samurai case= not awesome
