Does anyone in Southwest Ohio have that front wheel bearing lock nut tool so I can borrow it and not have to spend $80.00!?
I'll rent it or buy you some beer!

Auto Zone stores in this area has them. You 'pay' for the tool when you rent it out (to cover them if you don't bring it back) then they reimburse you the cost of the tool  minus a rental fee when you bring it back.

Thanks Zig. I had read that these were too specific to the Tracker/Kick that they did not have them in Auto-zones and had to be ordered online. I will check my local store.
Thanks!

I'm almost positive I found one at a store in Nashville... could be wrong though.. I do remember it was the crazy socket looking thing with the pins to fit in the holes of the nuts... Originally we took another socket that would allow us to weld pins to the outside of it and match the socket. It worked for a little while but broke after a few uses.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, welding pins onto a socket. Just not sure if I'll be able to make it strong enough  ???
Needs to be tightened back to 155ft/lbs. The Autozone here had ALMOST the right thing.. it's for Ford and it's just about 1/4 inch too large in diameter.
Hey do you remember what size socket you ended up using? I know it's just under 2 inches in diameter.
Thanks again bud.

Not sure if I am reading your post right, but auto parts stores here give you the full deposit back, when you bring the tool back.  So it costs you nothing to rent the tool if you bring it back.....except for the time and gas to get it and return it.
Tracker and Sidekick parts for sale.....PM me with your wants/needs.
