I building it for hunting and mudding i had a four wheeler and it was stolen so i said hey this samurai is just as small and maybe more fun.

depends on what your goin for. i got a 86 samy that ijust put a spring over on and put 32in super swamper tsls on it. its a sick little rid that gos on any quad trail. i got the perches for $40 amd the tires for $200. hysteer for $100 extended break lines for 20. stock gears open diffs. soon to put a locker in the rear. its a good daily driver and its nice for offroad to. its not big at all. just a good rig. my advice is to start small and go from there. dont over kill it right away cuz you might not like it. take your time

Thanks for the advice. I think i'm goin to clean up the body and just put a header and lift for now i got too many cars and love them all this ones for hunting this fall so i'm not in a big hurry. i just need idea to focus into a plan thanks again.

For a quick hunting rig I would skip the lift kit and just put some 235/75 R15 Mud Terrain tires on it and maybe a locker in the back, Trail Tough just announced the new Spartan lockers for 209, might be a good thing to try.

Exactly ...  throw some tread, maybe some cheap gas shocks on it and let her go.  It's a perfect light duty as is.
