so i have been doing lots and lots of reading on little Geo's.. I'm going to go start the front strut mount flip today.. I'm wanting to get some advice for the lift itself. if i understand correctly if i use 1 1/8 or 1 1/2 spacers in the front and use 2 in spacers in the back with crown Vic springs Will it sit almost level???   I'm not a fan of body lifts so planning on taking that extra 2 in out of the fenders..              and if anyone could point the way of them fine quality cheap spacers please let me know

I make them. You are right, 1.5" in front and 2" in rear. I make strut spacers as well so you can skip the flip.

Hey Wild, good call on the mustang shocks. I just wanted to help reconfirm the info. The ones I used were for a 95 they were direct bolt in except for a slight modification to the rubber bushings at the top.    Jeff1997 includes a list of shocks that should work, I picked KYB, different brands may be slightly different.

You got it, the spacers will take care of the lift. You will reuse all the stock springs.  I'd recomend the diff spacer,  it takes a little bit of the BS out of lifting the front.

OOOOPS!!   I meant to say get the strut spacers, THEY will make the front easier, the diff spacer is for the rear...duh

Is the diff spacer something you MUST have? or something that can be added later.  i bought all the spacers like 2 years ago and just have had no time to install and at the time i don't recall diff spacers being offered so i would assume this is not a must have.

No the diff spacer is not needed to lift it. Some guys want max flex from the rear. That being said the diff spacer allows the upper Y link to not bind and thus allow full movement after coil spacers are in. Not needed but preferred by some.

Ok because I'm really just doing a mild lift for a more butch look to an otherwise fairly girly looking tracker.  So i could care less about rock sprawling articulation.

yes but the stang springs didnt give me the ride or flex i would have liked it had to much body role also

I ran into the same issue, installed a rear track bar.   Stiffened the rear end right up. 

Mustang springs or shocks? I'm just talking about the shocks,
don't know about the mustang springs
