just got a 90 geo tracker Lsi for 150 bucks. doesnt move yet. in need of a clutch...  so my question is when i start the geo it revs to over 2 grand when it is cold. about five mins into warming up it revs from 2 grand to about 12 to 15 just up and down.. when it finally warms up it  purs like a little kitten 'with just a header'             have  you guys any clues or it happen to anyone??????

You might adjust the throttle "kicker" and look for vacuum
leaks, this behavior is sort of normal, just needs some adjusting
