we do a grind for the 16v, its a torque grind not a top end grind. ALSO, Im working on pistons. I have to buy a ton of them to get an order. I'll keep you all posted.

I need to get my 16V into my SJ now or this is going to cost me money  :)

Seriously, I'm working on remapping the ECUs for the late model 16Vs, once I've done a map for a standard (ish) motor it has to be build time  :) :)

Never rebuilt a motor Furthest i've gone motor wise is a head swap.....after rebuild. Lower end cant be that hard.....My end product i want:

Rebuilt G16KV Head (torquer cam)
Rebuilt lower end
D/T Header
Custom 2" Back
Figure out my cold air intake with Throttle spacer
Drop clutch fan (replace with Electric fan / Push pull theory)
(still looking for alternator swaps)

Id love 2 cores. But money is so damn tight. Pisses me off. (not even lifted yet >=O)
<)O.o(> NO!!!!! *as the sidekick rolls* My beer =(

Why do you want a throttle spacer on an MPI engine?

maybe it would help with bottom end or he is looking at the ones that has the swirls in it for spinning the air as it goes in but would only work at Wot. ?

Port the Mass Air Sensor! I noticed a good increase by de-screaning and porting the MAS. When you pull the screen assembly out there will be a step in the plastic housing. I blended that step out and ported thru the housing. Epoxy in the cavities on the outside of the MAS housing fixed it up nicely!
I ported the entire I.D from front to back and trimmed the air director around the sensor probe. The throttle response and power increase was well worth the trouble.
I also cut the ribs out of the air box lid and smoothed the sharp edges around the port that feeds air to the engine. More air volume above the filter feeds more air to the ported MAS! The 2 1/2 inch exhaust and header helped also.

Thanks,
Brent

My back window isn't made of glass.     :P   Can't help you with a rear defrost....but I would like to hear some more about motor swaps/head swaps and power gains.   Mine's old and tired as well....and could use a rebuild.
