The recent experience  I had with the engine temperature rising and the AC despite working double time, blows hot air showed how important the clutch fan us. Having the clutch fan rebuilt, consuming 5 tubes of silicone gel seemed to help the engine maintain its normal operating temperature.
I am still currently observing the performance of the engine,  if the clutch fan build up project is ok or not.

Please note - unless you can match the "heat of the day" and the traffic conditions/forward speed under which you first detected the fan failure - it could take a while to see how this works.
