Over here in the Netherlands most cars have a start disconnector (is that how it's called?) installed.
this thing is used to block people from starting the engine and using the car without the proper keys and stuff.
Today the one on my 92 vitara (tracker/sidekick) broke so I decided to get rid of the damn thing.
Now I followed all the wires through that came out of it (9) and looked where they went, everything was cut off and the wires that were rerouted through it were connected to eachother again.
All fine you'd say right? NOT....
Because now I have no power in the car anymore, no lights on the dash no little clock thingy next to the ashtray, nothing.
I checked all the fuses and they're all fine as far as I can tell, but maybe I forgot some, are there any hidden fuses, besides the ones under the dash and the ones next to the battery?
And if not, anyone got an idea on what else this might be?
I'm gonna go through ack's site now to get the wiring diagrams and stuff so that I can check if something is wrong as well.
