well, trucks had a front end oil leak from the day i bought it over a year and a half ago. it need the timing belt done as its at 315,000 km. and that oil leak hasnt been good for the belt.
i got a local dealer and suzuki specialist shop to quote me prices for getting the work done...
suzuki dealer- 4-5 hours, total bill up around 800-900 bucks (parts included)
specialist- 5-6 hours, recomends valve adjustment, and labor at just over 500 bucks.
if i remember right parts were about $200 or so.
i dont know... rebuilt motors are just over 1200... is it worth getting the work done on an older tired engine or just swap it for a new one.
i have no where to work on it myself, so thats out of the question.
engine also seems to have the tipical distributor oil leak as well (its old, i dont blame it)
do i bite the bullet and get the work done or just say the hell with it and swap it, but thats also a new clutch, and the labor to swap the engine by either of those same shops.
