Ok so its the central hub, not the brakes that don't fit.  Has anybody managed to get cragars or aftermarket wheels on their tracker?

Hmmm.  A list of aftermarket wheels that are proven to fit over small and/or big-braked Trackers/Vits.  I don't think that's been done before.

Sounds like a job for Jeremiah.

It seems like the more I read, the more confused I get.  From what I gather so far, the trackers are similar to the grand vitara's, but don't have the big brake hardware.  Can anybody say for sure if normal aftermarket 15-16 inch wheels (like the black 15" cragar steel wheels I want) will clear the brake hardware on a stock 03 tracker?

-Thanks

Ok i have a 01 grand vitara and a 03 vitara the the GV has 16 in rims away bigger calipers, reg vitara has 15 in rims smaller calipers  u can put 16"s on reg vitara and rims off set is about 2inchs further out, on reg vitara i put 5on 5.5 ford after market rims 8 in wide also CJ's have same bolt pattern and same hub diameter. the only way u'll fit 31' without doin suspension lift and cutin the body, is 2in body lift and coil spacer but you'll have a stiffer ride a not much travel
