While were on the subject of air intakes is it possible to remave the cross over pipe at the front of the intake manifold(on the 2.5 v6 ) cap off the holes and run 3 inch pipe from the throttle body to the air filter?

Whether it works well without forced induction, I have no idea.

i put a cone on mine fabbed(bent the shit out of lol) the original bracket filter bolted right up to stock tube and mass air fits like a glove huge improvement especially in torque smokes the tires off where it would not before relocated the ait sensor  etc works great love the sound these little zuks respond very well to very little because the factory stuff is so restrictive
