Thanks for the input, I appreciate the help, and I'm not trying to argue here but,
If the distributor is 180 out, and your ignition is functioning, you will get spark, just at the wrong location at the wrong time. This is a function of the spark leaving the coil, going through the center of the distributor cap, through the rotor, to the cylinder.
This is timing.
Timing is not my issue.
I get no spark from the coil, regardless of where the rotor is pointed.
