Nice looking pics.  How is the extra ground clearance?

The extra ground clearance is helping a LOT. The articulation has increased and I am sure when I install longer shocks/dampers, the articulation would increase more.

Keep us updated when you go on another trip.  It was a lot of fun looking through the photo's of the last one.

Some of those shots of your rig look more like a commercial then a run shot...  :)

Read this off-roading thread when you have time. My friends from a different city in India organized it 'AT AN AIRPORT' complex. The purpose was to spread the awareness about 4x4 vehicles & off-roading and make it into a family thing.

Right now in India, NOT many familes go for off-roading and it's mostly men who go off-roading

It is a shame that you missed the event.  I kept looking for shots of your Gypsy in there.  :D

Beautiful pics as always, it's amazing to see the different vehicles and so many old Willys.  Not to mention all the lights on the front end of 20 and 37.  I like the half doors on the #20 as well.

Watching that Gypsy spin it's wheels in the video reminds me why I like Lockers so much. In the second video is the Gypsy with the full hard top running a Limited Slip or a Lockright style locker?

I would have LOVED to attend this but this was really FAR off (some 800 miles to-fro).

That Hard Top Gypsy is running Lockrite lockers. he got these installed just before the event -- he had imported them from US.

We went to a small off-road session this weekend. Here are the details/pictures. The terrain was rocky/hill climbs and then followed by some mud bath in a lake bed.

Nice, that looks like it was a lot of fun!

Were there any "Oh Sh**" moments?  ;D

Your rig is looking great, any new goodies on the wish list for it?

Looks like a lot of fun.  :)

I'm surprised there aren't more Vitara's in the photo's.  Are they not very popular for wheeling?

No one uses a Vitara for offroading here. Only SJ413 & Jeeps. We went out last weekend for an outing and had great fun. Monsoon has started here and it is going to be full slush here.

zuke looks great. Looks like it's in great shape.

Did you weld on the front perchs level with stock one? This is a very comon issues that people will overlook. To keep the steering angles it's best to weld them level.

The spacers work better on one end. I can't remember which end but if you bolt it on and then try the other way you will see that one way makes the angles softer. With a LWB zuke you won't have the same bad angles as the SWB so you have an advantage but spacers are needed on both. You might get away with it on the road but when you flex off road it will get close to pulling out and there won't be enough spline left and it can cause some issues.

I tried to get away with no putting one and I hit a jump and the shaft almost seperated. When I hit the ground the shaft wasn't in enough and it bound up and bent the end of the shaft. The shaft was busted. I made it home that day but he to run in two wheel.

The last few SOA that I've done I took the whole spring pack and got some nice arc put into it. It adds some lift and just makes it look better. I've never had a pack drop back to the negative but I don't wheel rocks so the stresses are different.

Pictures are great as always.  I can't believe just how clean of a build you have done on that SJ.  :)

Why do they keep referring to your rig as Spidey?  Does HT stand for Highway Tire vs the AT, as in All Terrain?
