Your dropping a 1.6 into a Samurai with FI?

The easiest would be the 1.6 8v, so you can just keep your existing intake manifold.  Then all you need is the adapter to go to your transmission and a possibly new engine mounts.  Your electrical should all be the same.

If you want to swap the computer as well, or put in a 16v, it is a bit more complicated.  :)

also go on my profile and check out my post on the swap. im in the middle of the swap right now but im carbed. id used the trail tough adapter plate because it has stepper studs so u dont have to drill the bell housing. also u cant use the 1.6 header unless u mod the exhaust. im collecting everything first. its fairly cheap to do as long as u take ur time and look for deals.

also you might want to consider doing some extra thins like

water pump, timing belt kit, dist o-rings, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, head gasket, not a must but def intake and exhaust gasket, Gm alt upgrade, spark plugs, cap and rotor, spark plug wires, clutch kit, rear crank seal, thermo gasket and elec fan
