98 4door Suzuki Sidekick sport 1.8l help plz

The rack is made of .75x.75x.125 wall square tubing. It is mounted directly to the roof where the roof panel meets the door frames there is a seam. I made it myself and attached it to the roof using 4 tabs each with 2 .250 stainless bolts.

I can't hear it at all over the Swampers and the Cherry bomb!  :laugh: Seriuosly it does not make much noise. The lights do sometimes but just when the wind is right.

ok a couple more questions,  does the roof leak where you mounted it?  do you have any pics of the rack and mounting system?  also did you paint your body moulding or was it always that color, mine looks just like Jeff's and while the green is okay the gold could go.

No the roof does not leak, it does not go thru the roof. Yes i did paint my moldings. The paint is Krylon fusion paint for plastic, metallic black. It is awesome paint!! I'll get some pics of the mount and send them to you.

how does one know what size shocks to use when you do the lift with the blocks and the struck spacers.?  Jeff i updated my email adress so if you have tried to send me something before now I don't have it.  also I plan a new bumper and wench does that factor in with the struts and shocks I need?

I give you part numbers of longer shocks. You will not need longer struts if you use my spacers. No the bumper and winch will not affect it much. At least it did not mine. I have not gotten around to the roof rack pics, sorry.
