Avoid using motor honey in Suzuki engines unless you plan on replacing the engine within the next couple months at the latest. They need a normal to thinnish type oil. They can't handle the heavy viscousity.

Have you tried replacing your PCV valve? A lot of times it can be the simple little thing over looked for oil consumption. They only cost around $6 or $7 at a parts store for the 8V engines. The 16V costs as much as $15 from what I can remember. Try that.

If your engine seems to have a ghost leak that appears to be from the rear main, more than likely it isn't. The more probable culprit is the distributor housing O-ring. The only ones that I have found that don't break down over a few months is a factory Suzuki O-ring. They are less than $1.
