That slime green Zuk is a 1.6... 16 valve ;)

Yes, I recognised it, its the Chilean world altitude holder. What I was trying to say was that the Camden kit for the 1.3 will fit the 1.6 OK. The pic that I posted is actually a 1.6 8V.

For those who don't recognise it. The supercharger was fitted primarily for getting more air into the engine at altitude. There is a post on here somewhere with links to the details.

I know a supercharger definitely would help me out, Alot of the wheeling we do is above 10,000ft. I noticed a considerable power loss just from moving from sealevel to the Denver area (5,280). The Calmini headers and custom intake got me some power back, but a supercharger sure would be nice. I just cant justify the $2,000 + price tag yet.

I thought about a turbo, there is room for one. But I like the idea that a supercharger gives you the power all the time, where as with the turbo you have to get you rpms up first.

No matter what kind of system you build/buy, it's gonna cost you at LEAST that much to get it right. Have you considered an engine swap, maybe the 4.3? No replacement for displacement.

The chevy vortec 4.3? That would be a huge powerplant for the zuki. I have that in my astro and it pulls the my zuki down the highway at 80mph plus. You know anyone who has done the swap? That should be an eazy motor to get ahold of.

I personally havent put the vortec in my kick, but my cousins husband just put on in his sammy. It hasnt hit the trails yet, but it has awesome power. It went in easy but he is still working out the bugs.
