« on: October 06, 2008, 12:50:54 AM »
Hi all,

I am owner of GV 3 door LHD 2001 with J20A engine, and I have front carrier aluminium broken.
I want to replace it by a more solid carrier.
therefore the steel axle of 2.0L TD Vitara 5 door it is compatible with my front drive shaft RH and shaft front drive ( in housing differential ) ?

thank you.

Giacomo

While I'm not familiar with the diesel, I'm 99% sure the answer to your question is YES.  The steel assembly is bolt in for the aluminum and the axle shafts will transfer.
