Hi everyone.... My name is jon and I'm new to suzuki's. I run a offroad club in West Virginia and currently have a 89 xj on 33 boggers. My wife has a 98 xj on 33 bfg MT's. These are street legal jeeps but I went looking for a sidekick to build a all out offroader. Here is a pic of my sidekick and my jeeps. Hope to get too know you all well.

Thanks, I'm already a believer. I think with a SAS this thing is gonna go anywere, and light to Tow behind my wifes xj. I'm leaning toward yj leafs and yota axles, then put my 33 boggers on it. Might coil  spring and long arm the front, still got lots of research to do that's why I'm here.

Thanks guy's, But I'm a kind of build it myself kind of guy. Here is a long arm coil sprung SAS we just did on my buddies 98 blazer.  This is kind of what I was thinking for the sidekick, but 4 link front and 3 link back. I don't want a street legal rig, I want low center of gravity and alot of articulation. What I have read these little boogers are the ticket and I just gotta decide which way too go. Still searching, and reading alot. Nice rigs you guy's, you build good stuff.

look for heather galvin's rig. They did a very nice build.
Look for fj-60 axles as they are already set up for coils

 That would be FJ-80 axles, the FJ60 was the leaf predecessor.

Has anyone used the fsj wagoneer axle, It's a 44 with a drivers drop and a 60ish WMS to WMS. Haven't found anything on this axle yet.

You see them swapped into YJ's all the time, as they are pretty much a direct swap.  The only problem with it is the drivers side drop, you need a passenger side.  You could probably get a set of axles from a Scout II though.

I'm sorry that was a typo, I meant a pass drop from a 79 and older. Sometimes my head isn't screwed on right. Thanks
