I've recently talked with Low Range about converting my front end- it sounds like they are very close to having a kit ready and I will be starting on the swap this weekend. It is made for a samurai axle but can use a samurai to toyota axle kit.

I guess Im helping to revive a year old thread. But this is good stuuf. Im in the market for this kit. The slayer is still pretty pricy but this kit I would pay good money for... Any updates? Is sky still going to carry the kit or low range? Any info would be greatly apreciated.

Just call Low Range Off Road- they have everything you need for the swap. I've been running mine for quite a while now and it has been great.

yj springs are about 6" longer than sammy springs and will stick out further in the front hindering your approach angles. The mounting kit for the toyota axles is available for both yj or sammy springs but if you want to mount yj springs on your tracker front end you will have to build your own mounts out in front of the bumper. I think they stick out too far and when you add the shackles, there is a real loss of clearance and approach. I am running Trail Gear rear sammy springs with 3" of lift for my front swap and they are working good.
