front bumpers

i've got a 96 sidekick i'm lookin to get a new front bumper like pre runner style any of you guys got any ideas i'm lookin to spend about 250 and i dont care have to fab to make it work.

94 purple/green splash tracker w/ calmini 3' heavly modified lift 32 11.5 r15 bfg m/t's  & custom air induction and header w/ 2"exh. no cat lockrite rear 2" B/L and a heavy right foot and now 583s steel up front and locked.
2002 GV 2.5l 4.5 ZN lift locked on 31's

I found this bumper on ebay its for a jeep wrangler do you guys think it would be wide anuff for to go across the front .

its not a wrangler its for a cherokee

If its for a Cherokee then it most likely is too wide even for the tracker.  I only know because I have a friend I wheel with that has a Wagoneer and its wider then my Tracker.  The Wagoneer is really cloe to the new Cherokees for width.

He should picture the gusseting on the inside of the bumper - it's INSANE. I'm pretty sure it's the front clip from a tank.

I built my front bumper to fit a winch mount I had started.  Check it out on Build Diaries.  I got a break on the bending, but if you have cardboard pattern, any good metal shop will it bend for you.

I boxed the sides and it isn't gong to give.

Thanks.  I replaced my rear bumper also.
  If you know what you want, the hard part is done.  Making a cardboard MOC (for a solid bumper), or use PVC pipe, cardboard and duct tape (for a tube bumper), and get started.  It might be harder finding a shop to bend tubing than flat steel.

Two problems with doing it yourself.
1.  You know where the mistakes are.
2.  There is always something else to try.

If you use square 2" tube or something, you can cut & weld it up. I'm a little shocked square isn't used more instead of tube. That siad - it's hard to buld a bumper like ZOR's for less than they can get it to you.
