OK guys i got a 1996 sidkick and i knocked a hole in my catalytic converter any good ideas for a replacement ..
1.5 coil spacers front and rear
custom rear bumper
windshield post lights
front push bar
electric fan
aftermarket exhuast
31x10.50s on 15x8s
1.5 body lift

^good idea, also the scrap metal value of cat converters in my country is substantial, definitely worth swapping for a straight pipe

Just a quick reminder.  A straight pipe is only legal for an off road only vehicle.  You can however pick up generic high flow 2" cats off of ebay for pretty cheap.

in the county i live in in texas we dont even have to pass emissions. theres people running around with straight pipes all the time

I was thinking of cutting it out we dont have to pass emissions here and if the year of to vehicle is so old you can any way i didnt it on my last truck i think thats what i'm goin to do i putting a new exhaust on my wifes truck and i'll have alot of left over pipe anyway.

I thought having one was required on a federal level.  If theychecked for it was on a state/province.  :D  If not, my bad.  I know Federal parks in the US require a spark arrestor of some sort, which means either a catalytic converter or a non-straight pipe style muffler (aka Cherry Bomb).

That being said, my SJ-410 doesn't run a cat.  We didn't put one one when we put a new exhaust in place.  But it's a trailer queen.
