will 2" strut spacers throw off my camber?

adding strut extension spacers shouldn't change the camber.
spacing the strut mounts, or flipping them, probably does change the camber.

please note that i am not an alignment guy.

just makes sense to me that flipping or spacing the mounts changes the point of attachment, whereas adding length(extending) the strut shaft only compresses the strut, leaving the alignment unchanged.

No, adding the strut spacers or flipping the mount just changes the compression of the strut and the amount of droop available.

This is always the first thing I do before I start a lift. You can even have them flipped/have a spacer at stock height without the risk of bottoming out the strut ;)

Changing the mounts- spacers, flips, etc won't change the alighnment because the mount is still in line with the original mounting point. Spring spacers will change the alignment because you sit at a differnt hight in te camber arc.  It will also affect your toe. the answer is a $30 cam bolt at knuckle-to-strut will allow you to realighn it.

Any suggestions on where to find these bolts?

     They are a pretty common item,and usually available at most good alingment shop,and many vendors dealing in lift and lowering kits.

I got a set at Oreilly (they were cheap there than online)...I only had to use it on one side with 1.5" spacers.

like i said in earlier, i'm not an alignment guy, and it's good to get the info from a professional.
i had thought flipping or spacing the strut mounts might change the caster slightly, as it would lower the mount point. good to be corrected, thanks.

Found the camber bolts at Autozone, sold as a pair for about $20. Had to put them in the bottom bolt hole because there was no adjustment room in the top hole. They were designed to change the angle 1 1/4 degrees. My tires are still slightly out at the top, but they are close enough for me. Headed to the local mud bog tomorrow!

whats the part number on those camber bolts? ill have to get them, and where is the cheapest spring spacers/pucks?

i used specialty products company #81250.
adjusts +/- 1.75 degrees.
i got nice spacers from jeff. i'm sure a quick search would get his contact info(might be jeff1997?).

My alignment guy suggested hollowing out the top hole at the bottom of the strut to allow for re-aligning. He said the kind of wheeling I do is likely to break the camber bolts, as they have a tiny little cam. If you unbolt the top bolt, and push the tire in as far as you can, that usually corrects for 29-30" tires pretty closely. There's lots of how--to about that here.
