Soon to be Zuk owner, just a quick question
« on: May 17, 2008, 04:42:18 PM »
I'm about to buy an 87 Samurai from a friend's father in the next couple weeks or so. The main concern I have with it right now is some rust on the panel right in front of the window frame, behind the hood, and the window frame itself. I've seen the window frame available for sale, but can't say I've ever seen the other part for sale anywhere. What is that panel called, and where might I find it online?

I think you are talking about the tub, I would just cut out the rust and weld in a new piece.

Lift up the carpets and check for rust on the floors and don't forget the back. Common areas for zuki's to rust as well.
