Yeah I've done plugs (x2), cap, rotor, valve adjustment, fuel filter, played with the choke flap, still does it. Haven't checked the timing though, so that could be a problem. It burns some oil too, but it'll do it even with spanking new plugs. I'm pretty easy on 'er though. I have found that if I just start it up, let it warm up for a few minutes without touching anything she runs lots better, which is weird because we're in central texas at the moment. I'll check the timing, but how do I check the converter?
