ONE BAD TRACKER

project : DUNE TRASH
« on: February 07, 2008, 02:37:49 AM »
Well heres how it all started i have worked for a big local wecker/tow truck company going on 4 years and last summer i had the police call me and tell me they needed me at some old ladys house in tow to impound sometruck so i jumped in my wrecker and drove over there . The police wanted me to impound this 94' convertible geo tracker because it has been sitting in her driveway for several years and it was a eye sore in the subdivision she didnt really care anyways . then i asked her when it was running last she said when she parked it it was running fine and that was a year or so ago i asked if she would sell it to me right there on the spot she said she would and to make an offer so i quickly said fifty bucks and she agreed so insted of draging this tracker of to the impound yard i took it home . Once i got it home i hooked the battery charger up and it fired right up and its been one of my silve lake sand dune toys ever since heres some pics . these pics are fome this summer the only things i have done to it are the  tires , brushgard , decals . when i got it it was bone stock and in great shape !

since these pics where taken i have decided to make some changes to the tracker right now im working it . as it sits right now on a shortened 1979 chevy k5 blazer chassis with 35' super swampers under it  alog with a built small block 350 in it . ill post som pics soon !

50 bucks, thats a real bargain. I can't believe that the cops can impound a car from someones driveway  :o. My pick up has been sat in my driveway for 18months now and thats a real eyesore.
Please post up pics as the project progresses.
