Wheel Wells on 96 Tracker
« on: September 04, 2007, 09:48:58 PM »
Ok, I need to know if anyone has changed out their wheel well plastic? This is the thin plastic directly behind the front wheels. I messed mine up while bending the lower part of the wheel well back for clearance for bigger tires. There is little room for a screw at the area that I bent back.

1. Has anyone used something different in this area?
2. Has anyone just taken them out and running without them? I would think that this might be a problem due to getting mud into the door hinges and seals.

Thanks,
S

Yep, run without them and yes it is a problem for mud and goop to get in behind the door. Make sure and really, really wash it out when your done.
