me and my friend were board so we made a snorkel for 80$$ we got this intake tubing from autozone and we had to buy too of them so that was 40$ and my filter was 40$ but u can get what ever filter u want

looks like it oughtta do the trick.
'03 ZR2 2dr Tracker, '02 XL-7 drivetrain and electrcs
XL-7 front coils
1.5" rear coil spacers
Monroe 32316 shocks w/2" extenders
235/70-16 Bridgestone Destination A/Ts on stock XL-7 Alloys RRO Rock Rails (Presently removed, as they rusted to all hell; all the bolts were rusted to dust.  Real nice, RRO...) http://www.trivia-nights.com

What happens when it rains? Wouldn't water go in the filter?

its not in my way at all i can see it a little bit but not much and its fine at high speeds ive done 55  60 with it and it doesnt move and i didnt feel like making a little circle so i just cut out a square with the sawzall and when it rains i just put a old coffee can over it but u got to do what u got to do when ur 17 and without a job

i almost went with that same air filter

i think its a nice setup

personally i like quaddawgs

but a snorkel is a snorkel

At 17 with no job and limited resources you did great. It works and that's all you really need so, right on brother.
