my 03 ZR2 with the recently added hardtop that i'd be happy to sell real cheap! (my mounting bolts are totally f'ed so I can't mount it properly) and the newly updated tires, 31x10.5 SSR's, these things are huge for 31's as they measure closer to 32!  turns out they work better than my last swampers too.  had to do some internal trimming/banging to make these fit, they still rub in the back a little but only on plastic, if i extend the bump stops with will go away.

01 Vitara 2.0L 5 speed
Calmini 2.5" lift, Masterkit1 2" body lift
31x10.5 Westlake CR857 M/S tires on 15x5.5 Suzuki Sidekick "bullet-hole" rims painted black, yes, they rub on the frame on really tight turns
5.13:1 diffs, 4.24:1 Trail Tough low range gears, Detroit Locker rear-end, Superwinch premium manual locking hubs
Panasonic CD/MP3 deck
swaybar got tossed in the basement
custom skid plates and rock rails in the works

It's pretty neat looking, works superb off road, not too bad to drive on road either cause I got 5.13's.

Hello everyone.. I'm from Trinidad and new to the forums!

I've got a 1998 2.0L SGV. Vehicle is lightly modified with the 2.5" Calmini lift kit and some Hercules Terra Trac AT rated Tyres..

went with some friends for a drive down Icacos beach in Trinidad..

future upgrades
-install a locking rear differential
-install lots of off road lights  ;)

I know this thread is alittle old, but I thought I'd post my 2000 Tracker.

Ok, got the Calmini lift and got it installed.

Next up is installing my body lift and fitting 31's.  How much rubbing will I have with a 3" suspension lift and a 2" body lift with 31's?

Barely any! If you run those same wheels you have in the picture, your only rub will be when you turn super tight, it will rub on the frame behind the front wheel, and on the A-arm in front of the front wheel. The rear wheel will rub on the plastic inner fender liner, but it's fairly minor. If you get wheels that stick out more you will need to trim alot!

Is it really ok to run 31x10.50 tires on the stock (6 inch?) rims?  I have a set of 8" wide cj wagon wheels i was gunna use.

ya, you'll just get frame rub a bit before full turn of the wheel.. you get used to this and how far to turn before the rub starts, not an issue to worry about and if it bugs you later you can get spacers or offset rims.  i run mine on stock wheels and it works great.
