Have you checked the TPS adjustment ?
It needs to be in the proper location to
run right.
You will need a Multi-Meter to do this,
you will also need an 8MM wrench or
a 1/4" drive ratchet and 8mm short socket
to loosten the TPS.
start by removing the Neg battery cable.
unplug the 6 wire conector that comes from
the TPS, loosten the 8mm bolts that hold the
TPS to the throttle body and turn the TPS
clockwise, now with the meter set on Ohms
or continuity, hold the probes on the 2 pins
on the right side of the connector, this is with
the locking tab at the top as you are holding it.
Slowly turn the TPS counter clockwise until it
reads open circuit or no Ohms, stop there and
tighten the 8mm screws, you can turn it just a
hair farther it will be fine, but it needs to read
open at idle.
You can check the TPS before you loosten the
8mm screws, it should read open and when you
move the throttle just a little it should change
to an Ohm reading, I don't know what it is, but
it is outlined in the Haynes Suzuki repair book.
I have it in JPG if you need it
