well z link is the cheaper way of fixing your steering, it still works good, but you might have some bump steer, if you got the coin thought, a over the top steering is your better set up
as for height, it really wont be much higher than anyone running a spoa, with yj springs...... if i rember right yj springs give about 2.5 inchs of lift.... you you should only be half inch taller than that set up.
one thing you might find with +3 lift springs, that are stock width, is axle wrap
