Broken Rear door Handle
« on: April 19, 2007, 08:18:20 PM »
Hi

Is this a problem in the states?? I have broken three so i have had a better one made.

I now supply an unbreakable GV handle that replaces the broken section so you will never have any more problems.

It retails at $49.95 Australian and i can freight to any place

thanks

Tim

Mine's half broken.  What's the cost, freighted, to the UK?

I've never had a handle break but then again I believe North American models have a totally different handle. Here is a pic of my Canadian GV:

Well, I believe we have different hatch handles because of the difference in license plates. Outside of North America Vitara's seem to have the wide skinny plates mounted on the rear bumper. In North America we have a different bumper without the license plate mount and instead the plate mounts below the handle (one piece plastic design).... so I'm pretty sure American Vitara's are the same as Canadian give that the license plates are similar. I'll try and find a part number.

From the Suzuki EPC, N America section:

83930-65D01-5PK  GARNISH REAR LICENCE PLATE Black

It appears dealers have to order 5-packs.  The illustration shows that the handle is integral with the license plate holder.
