Wow, that looks like a Kick...

lol... just kidding..

I typed out a big long post and posted pics of my Trackick and all, then I noticed he was asking for Sammy pics..

I do have ONE question though... Why in the world would you want to put a body lift on a Sammy? those things are way easy to lift.... suspension lift that is...

i would love to put a suspension lift on it once I get it, but I can't get a clear picture on what a bolt on SPOA intails.... steering correction, drive shaft spacers......

I'm told I can't run anything larger than 30" with a 1.3 engine.  I'm trying to do the most on the least amount of money at first.  I don't have the funds to do a 3-4" spoa, get the tires, then have to get different gearing ratio.

That's the reason  I was wondering what a Sammi looked like on 235/75's, or 245/75's.  I can get Bridgestone Duellers cheap since my borther works for firestone.

The Sami on the left is running 235/75/15.  Had to do a little hammer work, mainly just beating the seam down on the inside of the fender.  Still rub lots when offroading but he ran em like that for years.  Wish I had a better pic for ya.

Do gears before the lift. Makes way more of a difference off road.

Screw gears, just get lockers.   Keep the 235's.  ;D

Not the greatest pic, but here you go.  We lost the muffler and front bumper later on the trip.  :P

i'm in the same boat you are, i wanted bigger rubber on my sammy. after posting here i got an e-mail from one of the users linking to his ride http://www.reachone.com/bashams/Suzuki/Zuki/
he's running 235/75/15's on a 2" shackle lift from rocky-road. i've purchased and put on these shackles, i think it was like $80 for a full set of 4. my samurai can now fit 235's without any rubbing, but i'm yet to put them on. you have to keep in mind that by putting on 235's you're going to be changing your gear ratio by a significant amount. If you're just after looks, i'd say go for it, if you want functionality, there are 215 mudders you might want to look into.

You mentioned the gears, I completely forgot about that on the light blue Sammy.  I had an old SJ-410 Transfer Case that I dropped into it when we put the Lockers in.  That brought it back to stock gearing.

29x8.50x15 is a close size to a 235 and they are offered in a couple of good tires.  Here is a link to my new build Blog  on my newest Samurai.
