do D 44's or a 9 inch or something. if you break your shafts that often get something where you can run a 31 spline axle shaft and a good strong ring, pinion and spider gears.

no use messing around with light stuff if it breaks all the time. if you have leafs it should be moderately easy to weld some perches on some new axles and bolt em on

If you get a Quadra Trac Jeep Wagoneer (Pre 1980) It will come with a passenger drop D44 and rear passenger drop D44 perfect for the offset in the Sammi case.  Can go down to 5.38 gears and they are roughly 58inches wide.  Ring and pinion are a lot bigger and the shafts are 30spline.

you will keep breaking them then if you already had aftermarket axle shafts.

I can't see blowing the money on a full floater just to swap it out in a few months :-\  unles you want to send it to me after your done.(6in wider than stock plz ;D )

Actually can go to 5.89's, and the front is 60.5" WMS (I forgot the rear ... it might be 58")

a friend of mine has a 9 inch on his leaf sprung wrangler and he matched it up to his front axle pretty nicely. I don't know if he narrowed it or what vehicle it was off of. if you narrow the axles it gets way spendy for shafts I heard. there is a writeup on a 9 inch in a track/kick and it's off an old bronco and only about 3 inches wider than the front end of that kick if I remember right.

I have no idea avout the 44's. you could always get a narrow offset wheel so the tires wouldn't stick out too bad.. would only work to a point but you know

a friend of mine always raves about his stupid nissan axles and how they are as strong as dana 60's... we always talk about NAS (nissan axle swap) and ask why people don't NAS F-350's so they can have a beefier axle just to piss him off cause he is full of crap
