I have the goodyear wrangler mtr on my rubicon and it seems a decent tire. Have done some mudding with them and they grip just fine. ok on clay, good in sand, and tolerable on the highway.

another question, how does the stock engine and gears like 31's, 1.6 8v, does it really affect mileage and power and if so what are the best gears to put in ft and back? i love the way these little trucks look with big tires so i wont be able to resist. i'm sure ive asked this question before  :P but what's the cheapest minumum lift i need to use, preferably suspension lift. i keep reading about flipped struts and 91 crown vic springs in the rear, dont mind hacking seeings how all the lower fenders are falling off anyway!thanks. i got to get some pics of this thing before i change it too much. has anyone put 31's on without a lift? still being able to move of course.
