CARPET KIT
« on: June 10, 2006, 08:29:19 PM »
Newbie here, so new in fact I don’t even have a Sammy yet. I have purchased one from Virginia but wont be here for a few weeks.

It’s a 94 Sammi with a fuel injected 1.6 8 valve.

Can’t wait until it’s here I have already purchased some yj Wrangler springs on ebay, and am wanting to purchase a great fitting carpet kit for the rear- over wheel wells and all if possible. One of the main reasons for buying the Sammi is so my dog can go with me. He doesn’t ride quads very well. Any way I need opinions on good quality and great fitting carpet kits, maybe seat covers also I haven’t seen the seats yet.

Thanks RGERBER

I got one from the above link,

it is a pretty good kit, but if i had it to do over I would have either gotten my car done with a rubber linning or had a professional install the carpet, but I am picky with these sort of things.

The premolded in small areas never seems to be perffect, close though

Ya I agree if water gets on them, or mud from a deep mudhole all it does is help floorboards rust quicker, and smell moldy and bad.  on my first sammy I used bedliner on the floor boards and a couple rubber floor mats, makes for easy cleaning.

Yeah, but dogs don't like sliding around on bare painted metal and carpeting would be much comfier for the pooch than bedliner... If it got all wet and muddy, he could just pull it out, hose it off and lay it in the sun for a couple hours...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...
