occasional clunk when shifting....
« on: May 13, 2006, 07:38:54 AM »
ok so i may not be into the full swing of things with my new to me standard 5-spd transmission in my '95 2dr 4wd geo tracker.  on ocassion when i shift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd and i let the clutch out too quick with to much rpms i get a little clunk noise coming from the drivetrain.  is this the onset of a problem or am i just manual transmission inept.  in other words, driver error or mechnical problem.  thanks and flame away  :P
