I am seriously considering the 4-door. The vehicle I purchase isnt going to be on the road much for 2 years because my license has been prohibited for drinking and driving.  I will be getting a Sidekick and working on it, adding aftermarket as time goes and as budget allows. I have an excellent yard with lots of space for it, so the machine wont be a hassle sitting outside my home. I love the 2door convertible but the 4-door is taking my attraction because I think it will be better in the long run, more usefull and still has all the aftermarket support. I just cant clear my mind about having 4doors and no removable top. ANYbody have any pics of them with the rear seat removed?

I'm rather partial to four doors:

Of course, I wouldn't mind having a 2 door as well!   ;D

Thats very nice. Very sharp and clean. How hard is it to wire those HELLA lights you have with the stock bumper system?

Thanks

Jayzuki,

Mounting the Hellas was actually pretty easy....I bought some angled steel that was pre-drilled (found at Home Depot/Lowes)....I in turn mounted that to the stock bumper, and bolted the lights to the angled steel stock.

I'll have to take some closer up pics for you to see....

Good luck with finding a rig!

Lighting is a very important thing!! Your set up looks like it does the trick, for the front anyway.

Thanks

I really need to get a 4-door sidekick due to my growing family, but I'm having a hard time giving up the 2-door convertible  :'( I think I'll be selling my 2-door and buying a 4-door very soon. Then, when the money builds up again, I'll get another 2-door convertible(in better shape than mine) to modify and wheel.

Hello All,

I just found a 1992 4dr with 39,000 in my local junkyard...Yes I've ask for parts there I know them very well....It's not a Tracker he said it's a Suzuki Sidekick....So I just kinda rolled my eyes...They bought it at an auction 5 yrs ago...They said it needs a motor(16V) What year are the computers that go bad???It now has a little rust above the rear wheel wells...They didn't wash the salt off!!! And the best part......$300 LOL    And I have a 2 door with 33's and it's crazy now!!  I know guys I need to post new picks....Bad Tom !!!!  I have had it balanced on the front tires twice now...Both back tires over a foot off the ground!!! Kinda scary...Off road I'd say the 2door rocks!!! The 4 door will be my new DD....That's better than my 2003 S-10 with the $330 month payment!!!! I'll get new picks ASAP....My DSL at home craped out....

Later Tom K

Put 4 kids, sleds, cooler, and more in my 4 dr and went to the hills.  The vehicle drives great, love the steering.  Drive on interstate and is stable.  I need to add a low gear for offroad but no complaints.  A lot of parts are different like front grill, but a lot are interchangeable.
