- Can the rear seats be take right out? I meen without hassle?
Undo 4 bolts in front of the seat and it will come right out. Takes 5 minutes or less.
- do they sqeek and rattle more? Like I meen inside the interior.
My Tracker 4 door has 74,000 on it now. No squeeks or rattles. My wifes Kick has 160,000 and everything is still tight on it too. They have a little wind noise at the top of the doors at speeds over 70 MPH but it isn't too bad. We converse over it on drives.
- are they more prone to body damage? [ like rust and dents and things ]
Same design, same metal. Same areas seem to rust on both in ones I looked at in Michigan. The area around the windshield seems more prone to rust on the 2 doors though.
- Do they have a much different feel to them compared with the 2-door?
A little more stable feeling on and off road due to the longer wheelbase.
- I guess they are still really good offroad
Oh yeah.
- If they handle better in icy and slippery conditions
I haven't driven a 2 door through a winter yet but the 4 doors are very predictable. Even took my wifes 2wd on a 2000 mile snowboarding thrip last winter. Blizzard conditions the whole trip. With it's AT tires it performed great. I was impressed.
- what parts are different than ones on the 2door convertible
They dont have a removable top.
J/K ...All the doors are different. The frame is different. The bumpers front and rear are a different design. And then the stuff you mentioned.
- how problem prone the extra 2 doors can be?
I have never seen any hinge issues on the rear doors yet in any I have owned or looked at.
Hope that helps. I really like the 4 door model. But, if you want the top down for some summer wheeling your out of luck.
