I was hollering for you today but never could find ya.ÂÂ
Shucks, I am sorry we missed ya. I was looking forward to checking out your LWB. Don't get a chance to see one of those often!ÂÂ
We had a great time! Ran into two Sami's and two Kick's, first thing when we went in. Nice to see so many Zuks. We played on the pyramid and the Playground at the river. I only got stuck once, when I bottomed out in the mud! Two of the Sami's got stuck too. Lots of fun down there and the river is beatiful!
Here's a few stair shots. We looked for the "Stairsteps" all weekend, with no luck. But had lots of fun playing around on these. ÂÂ
I had to get a tow up one of the rock ledges near the schoolbus on Saturday, after I slid the back end around on the edge of a drop, trying to get over the ledge. Husband made the same spot in his unlifted Sami, but he is the best I've ever seen at picking a line.
This hill is my finest moment in my Kick to date I think. ;D First time I did it last weekend, I couldn't believe it! I was even prouder of my Kick, when my husband failed to make it in his Sami! Seemed even easier today cause it was a little damp. I know I wouldn't have been able to make it before I swapped in the 5.12s. Unfortunately, my friend Jerry broke the ujoint on his rear driveshaft when he tried to follow me today. He's lifted on 31s,with a tcase reduction and rear locker. Had a replacement DS he thought, but it ended up being a 12MM from his wife's Zuk instead of the 14MM he needed, so we were done for the day.
Really proud to say I drove the Kick 2 hours at a steady 4000RPM, wheeled it fairly hard for two days, and another 2 hrs at 4K back home, without a flaw, two weekends in a row!!! ÂÂ
