I was thinking that too but I think Mike is using that custom Calmini center diff in the makeover. I think that already has bearing support. Speaking of which I can't get Calmini to sell me one of those.   :'(

That part has me perplexed and I work alot with suspension design. That picture doesn't relate how big it is. I based size on the welds. Also is it complete or just part of a part? Hmmmm?

Not real sure what that even is.  Kind of a solid axle guy that doesn't ask questions.
I think he said he was using stock sidekick knuckles...

The more I look at it the smaller I think it is than it looks - I'm thinking a steering brace for the idler arm, or steering box ......

From the looks of it, it has a tapered bearing in the end and attaches to a live component. There does not seem to be any pivot apart from that bearing.
I would guess that it is an upper arm that attaches to a pivot point on the chassis and then bolts up to a knuckle assembly - eg upper / lower arm arrangement 8)

Warm or cold?

look to be at different heights, but I can't
quite tell, I need another angle shot

Well after careful pondering and reviewing the threads.......

I would guess that it is the mount for etheir and upper control arm or the mount for the top of a coil over or custom strut set up.

Am I close?
