only way to lift the tank after body lift is to cut the two bars above the tank out, then ur good to go, might not be legal and reduce safety in a crash.  who really knows though.

Yeap, cut thoughs out and the rear mounting for the bumper.  Cousin made new bumper that slid into the frame and bolted on, triing to regan the strength from the parts removed.
I should really take pic and post.

Hey Bzzr2 did you make it to Suzican, or did you sell your car?  I had to work, next time I'll call in sick.

i made it up for a ride up craig lake went to the lake and that was it, i had no front skid plate on and i didn't wanna trash the front on all the rocks, busted off the drives side mirror on the way up, glued that back on nicely.  what a rough trail!  truck sold 2wks after that now i'm driving an xl7 with a little lift and all some goodyear territories so i can still get out camping..
