SGV stops when steering left or right on 4H during

I can park my grand vitara easily on 2H; but when I shift 4WD it gets hard to maneuver while parking.
Do all 4WD's have the same problem?

or Suzuki GV only?

Put ARB's front and rear, and turn them on - Great traction, as long as you don't want to TURN!

Yeah, my wife's GV chirps the tires turning in 4WD as well.

Better not to drive in 4wd on the pavement, your front drivetrain will wear very quickly becaus there's no diff in the t-case.

Yes ANY 4x4 will handle and steer different whan you have in in 4wd, even in bone stock form. It becomes even harder when you are operating 4x4 on dry pavement due to the drive line binding up (and you can damage your vehicle making tight manuvers in 4x4 on surfaces with good traction).

Yeah just think about this the inside tire is only tuning at say 1 full turn and the out side ones are at 1.75 turns but as soon as the 4wd is locked there is no play for the 2 inside tires. the diff is trying to take some play but it can not so it binds up and forces the tire to slip kind of trying to make it go in reverse as u go forward very bad for axles and difs

well silly me

well I figured that I would try climbing a couple parking blocks piled above each other, about 16" inches tall

well I just didn't have the juice in 2h to climb it, and it was a parking lot with a bit of snow/gravel

so I decided ah, 4lo ;)

nice to say I was able to idle climb it no problem
put my car in neutral and walk outside to admire the little articulation I had
walk out
and oh jeeze, my car launches at me about half a foot
as my back left tire spins a little

then aah.. I realized, I forgot 4 wheel drive on pavement
