Toyota steering box question
« on: February 10, 2006, 07:44:05 AM »
I am looking at putting power steering on the 86 tintop and was wondering if I could use the steering box off of a 2wd toyota IFS truck, or does it have to be 4x4.  Thanks

You can use it.  if I remember right the 2wd has 2 tabs to bolt it to the Frame, the 4wd has 3 tabs.

Is your existing setup broken or are you just trying to switch to the new setup?
