Thanks on Suspension prob, now I have another problem!

I will take some photos soon of the suspension components and post them, but right now my trackers having a vibration that's irritating~!!
At and beyong 55mph, there's a deep vibration, I guess even more noticable with the hardtop on. Two wheel drive here.  I had taken it to a garage and he found a Right rear bent drum and replaced that, and he explored the trans, rear end, but finally checked out the catalytic converter and it did have loose inner pipe, so replaced the converter too!  The coverter was very expensive!

Even though he said he fixed the problem, it still does it!

The little tracker won't make the noise without load, so placing it up on jackstands and runniing it up doesn't help make the vibration.
I can feel a vibration in the shifter handle (automatic) when driving past the speed mentioned.  Anyway,  While I was looking underneath while up on jackstands.  The tailshaft bushing seemed awefully sloppy when pushing up and down on the front yoke.  Seemed very metalic, moved about .25", no leaking of trans fluid, but kind of funny no fluid coming out of the tailshaft when taking the driveshaft down.  I couldn't locate a tailshaft bushing/seal kit, even from the dealer.  I was just thinking that maybe the yoke may begin occilatiing in the tailshaft after 55mph?  You would almost think it was a tire making the noise, but these are new TA radials, non aggressive tire pattern, besides, the tracker made the noise/vibration prior to the new tires/wheels.  I just assumed it was the tires causing the problem and I had a couple cars where the tires sounded like bad bearings.

I did replace the Right front wheelbearing.  If you are unfamiliar, the inner and outter races are "as one" held in by a snap ring.   When driving it, it just sounds like the noise/vibration it coming from the Right front, but when in the passenger seat, it doesn't sound like the Right front, at that point, I'm not sure at all!!!  Below 55mph, nice and quiet.

the rear end is full of grease.  Swerving the tracker from left to right doesn't change the pitch or sound.  It does go with the speed of the vehicle, but subsides below 55mph and faintly ceases to non audible below 55.

Do you guys have any ideas!!!

Check the hub on the right front and make sure the lockout is disengaging. It almost sounds like your axle shaft is spinning all the time and starting to vibrate around 50 mph

A viration like that is most likely drivetrain
Look at your yoke again and look at the u joints push up and down on each one and if there is any play replace.

also look at your tranny and motor mounts
OOps, owell thats just the fender

Ok, it's a two wheel drive don't forget.  I did replace the transmission support, it was totally broken.  I did check the U joints pretty well when I had the shaft out.  I guess I can check it a little more thoroughly

I know this site deals mainly with 4 WD, but would anyone have an old trans that I could buy the tailhousing off of?  The dealer said the only way I could replace the tailshaft bushiing was to replace the entire tailshaft housing which costs about 300!

Well< I've got to start boarding the house for Rita!!  Talk later and thanks!!!

I can't imagine the tailshaft bushing is worn
out because your not lifted, I wonder if the
U-joints are bad and allowing some movment
from center.

1/4" movement is quite a lot, how far out does
the slipyoke hang out when you are checking ?
