2005 freshening
« on: October 05, 2004, 10:16:27 AM »
The Aerio has undergone a major refreshening.  The front and rear ground effects have been redone.

in the front the Aerio now has a grille and a retro '90's era Swift GT look.

the rear, the sedan gets a revised bumper and the sport hatch gets a new bumper and Altezza style tail lights (not something i prefer)

on the inside is the biggest change, and all-new dash.  gone is the digital dash from before and in it's place is a smoother more user friendly dash.  with analog instruments.

the rest of the car (mechanically) is a carry over from last year.

My wife is buying a 2004 Aerio SX AWD this weekend.  it's a slightly used one with 16K miles on it. Here's a couple pictures.  She looked at the 2005s and didn't like the new dash layout.  The altezza lights look as dumb as they do on any other vehicle, too.

now we will have 2 zuks in the family..or 3 if you count the trackick.

Black looks great but it's hard to keep clean, especially since we live on a dirt road  >:(

This little sucker is a blast to drive.  It's not a WRX Sti, but 155HP and AWD in that little thing makes for some good gas pedal fun.
